random stuff about 3D printers mainly Prusa i3 MK3
I built an enclosure for my 3D printer prusa i3 MK3 with IKEA LACK side tables. I also added a radial fan to reduce the fumes during printing and quickly vent them out of an open window. A lot of the parts are printed with the 3D printer. My future plan is to maybe put the power supply outside the enclosure because of temperature issues but actually it is cold enough thanks to the air suction. It was a lot of fun to build.
Parts:
- IKEA LACK Side table, black: 200.114.08
- IKEA Komplement soft closing hinge: 302.145.04
- Titan TFD-B7530M12C radial fan
- Polystyrene windows
- white LED stripes
- fire detector
- 3D printed parts (see folder STL)
