fee-fi-fo-fun

This is a simple application to demonstrate the process of running a NuPIC-based application in Amazon's Elastic Beanstalk Service with Docker for the NuPIC Spring 2014 Hackathon. The application reads words in sequence from the "Jack in the Beanstalk" story and uses the OPF to predict words using the CategoryEncoder.

Step 1: Get application archive

git clone https://github.com/oxtopus/fee-fi-fo-fun
git archive -v -o fee-fi-fo-fun-`git rev-parse HEAD`.zip HEAD

You may also download a zip directly from GitHub here (git not required!)

Step 2: Provision AWS Elastic Beanstalk Application

Use the wizard. Be sure to select "Docker" in the Environment Type screen, and upload the zip from Step 1 above in the Application Version screen

Step 3: Log in to instance and attach to process

ssh -i ~/.ssh/austin-west.pem ec2-user@<host>
sudo docker ps
sudo docker attach <container>
