Implement Physical Sliders for Variable Control

It has been suggested that physical sliders could be used to control variables such as speed and motor power. Researching ways to implement this may prove useful even if the design is never fully integrated.

One would need to research viable hardware, how it interacts with the visual interface, and placement of the sliders such that the hardware is not intrusive to the user.
