Getting started
pip install wagtail
wagtail start mysite
cd mysite
python manage.py migrate

Compatibility
Wagtail supports Django 1.11.x and 2.0 on Python 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6. Supported database backends are PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite.
