A simple shell is a command-line interpreter program that provides a basic interface for users to interact with the operating system. This project aims to create a minimalistic shell implementation with essential features.
- Command execution: The shell can execute external commands by forking a child process and executing the command in it.
- Built-in commands: The shell supports a set of built-in commands, such as
cd,pwd,echo, etc., which are executed within the shell process itself. - Piping: The shell supports piping of commands using the
|operator, allowing the output of one command to be used as input to another command.

Clone the repository:

Compile the source code:
gcc -Wall -Werror -Wextra -pedantic -std=gnu89 *.c -o hsh ```

./hsh ```
Once the shell is running, you can enter commands and execute them. Here are a few examples:
