Ctrl-D in interactive mode hangs

In interactive mode, if you hit Ctrl-D (which is usually used to quit the interaction), the interactive console hangs (note: cmavnode itself doesn't hang). So you have to Ctrl-C to quit, no other option at this point.

Ok, i'm not familiar with this usage of C-D, what would be appropriate handling? Quit the interactive shell or quit the whole program?

Good question, I would have thought quit the shell and the whole program as well? That's just my personal opinion.
