This project implements a Business Intelligence (BI) system for analyzing sales data to improve profitability, optimize inventory management, and enhance marketing strategies in a fictional retail company.

Approach

Methodology

To complete this project, we implemented a methodology tailored to the lifecycle of a BI project. This methodology consisted of six steps:

  1. Data collection
  2. Indicator collection
  3. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
  4. Determination of Analysis Axes or Dimensions and Data Warehouse Design
  5. Visualization
  6. Multidimensional analysis

Project Management

Project management was crucial for the success of the BI project. We utilized the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Gantt chart to plan and coordinate the various project tasks.

Conclusion
