In this project, I have built a dashboard for understanding the root cause of attrition in the company which helped the company to reduce the attrition rate by 5% by coming up with different strategies.

Problem statement

XYZ company which was established few years back is facing around 15% attrition rate for the couple of years. And it's majorly affecting the company in many aspects. In order to understand why employees are leaving the company and reduce the attrition rate, XYZ company has approached HR analytics consultancy for analyzing the data they have.

I'm playing the HR analyst role in this project and build a dashboard which can help the organization in taking data driven decision.

Top reasons why Employees switch to other companies

  • Better Job satisfaction

Other reasons to quit their job

  • Health issues
  • Maternity break
  • start up ideas

Some major insights from the Dashboard

  • Job level 2 employees have left the company the most.
  • Most of them had very low Job statisfaction
  • Employees in the age group of 29-35 have left the most.
  • In the Job level 2, most of the research scientist left the company, even though they were getting paid more than what the current employees are getting paid.
  • Average salary of managers who left the company was 7 thousand lesser compared to those who stayed in the company.
