Android Wetter Benachrichtigungs App
introduction
Die Android-App in dieser Repository kann den Anwender in regelmässigen Abständen über eine Temperatur Unter- / Überschreitung informieren. Der Nutzer kann dazu in der App eine Temperatur eintragen, die im Local Storage des Geräts gespeichert wird. Anschliessen kann ein Background-Service gestartet werden. Der Service prüft in einem Intervall von einer Minute die Wetterstation "Tiefenbrunnen". Ist die Temperatur an dieser höher oder tiefer als der festgelegte Wert, wird eine Push-Meldung ausgegeben.

how to use
- open the project at its root with android studio
- run application on an emulator or physical device
- (optional: on android 13: allow push notifications with the permission dialog)
- enter a temperature threshold with the input dialog
- start and stop foreground service using the in-app buttons
disclaimer
as discussed on 26.09, we are not comparing the temperature difference for better testability. instead, we are comparing the user input with the fetched temperature and display a push notification if there is any difference between these two.
