Can I install Tracker/Xuggle on Linux without being root?

I don't want to mess with my system's non-user directories. Is there any way I can get xuggle.jar without running the installer as a superuser?
Sorry, that's the only way. For Tracker be sure to use Xuggle version
3.4 as 5.4 has serious problems.

You could install Xuggler on a similar system (i.e. same OS, same bitness) and just copy the relevant files to the target system.
I have done the same on Windows.
