$ man2pdf <program-name>
This is a script built for bash shells that will create pdfs from manpages
and automatically open a pdf viewer.
Even though it was built and runs primarlily on Linux it defaults to OpenBSD
documetation if it is available.
- If Documentation exists on OpenBSD manpages it will convert that
html
to a temporary pdf usingpandoc
- Else it will create a temporary pdf file by processing the output of
man -t
withps2pdf
It will open the temporary pdf in a pdf viewer. Currently it's hardcoded to open with with evince.
You will need to make sure you have the following packages:
pandoc
- A LaTeX Distribution such as TeX Live or MikTeX.
mktemp
ps2pdf
evince
