PHP 5.4 and later have a built-in web server. It is very helpful to quickly test a php app without the need to install other Web Servers.
From your terminal:
cd /../../dir
and then type:
php -S 127.0.0.1:8000 phpfile.php
or if you want to specify the directory root
php -S 127.0.0.1:8000 -t your_folder/
(The name of the PHP file inside the root folder must be index.php)
Access files on your computer from any other device connected on the same newtork with just python!
From your terminal:
cd /../../dir
and then type:
python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000 --bind 192.168.x.x
don't forget to change 192.168.x.x with your computer's IP Then from any other device type in your browser
