double clicked items in padre are highlighted black, how do I change the preferences

When I double on an variable name in Padre it's highlighted in black. How do I change that to a legible highlight color?

I see the same problem.

Its not an intentional color, it's a removed or broken constant somewhere
in the Wx support.

What is Wx support? I was able to remove this once before, but I don’t know what advanced setting(s) I changed! Any ideas?

The underlying gui libraries for Padre have changed recently.

This is a side effect.

I'm investigating more

Thanks for your feedback, I know I was able to make it disappear setting some ‘advanced option’ in the past. I just can’t remember what I changed.
