An implementation of chess with an ascii terminal frontend.
Supports pass and play, and peer to peer networking.
Run hellochess --help for CLI details.
there's also a work in progress fullscreen mode with cli option --fullscreen
Building requires git and zig 0.11.0. Consider using a zig version manager like zigup for easier updating and/or version swapping.
- clone with
git clone https://github.com/PatrickTorgerson/hellochess.git - in the root project directory run
zig build - resulting exe can be found at
./zig-out/bin/hellochess.exe
