This is a OXT Builder wrapper for the crossplatform opensource library called HIDAPI. HID stands for Human Intereface Device. It's a device standard commonly used in USB and Bluetooth devices such as Keyboards, Mice, Gamepads/Joysticks, Barcode readers, Assistive devices (Braille, Head-mounted pointers, etc.), Touchscreens, Coin-Op (think arcade games) devices, etc.
