Added to wrong project
Adding a total of 3 formats at the start, mostly as it's just a start and I need input form users.
- Day of week, D/M/Y (i.e. Th, 24/10/2019)
- Y/M/D - Day of Week (i.e. 2019/10/24 - Th)
- Day of Week, Mon-D-Y (i.e. Th, Oct-24-2019)
I can add more.
Date formatting added to v1.0.0.0 delta will be added in v1.0.1.0 but there are enough changes to 1.0 that I wanted to get it out so people can get their settings updated and ready. I won't change settings until another major version bump (say v2.0).
V1.0 will be submitted for review tomorrow morning and expect a couple days review then release.
Please give https://gallery.fitbit.com/details/e56ff2d7-5836-429c-a10c-10b1bb42dc54 a try.
This will be the 1.0.1.0 build once it passes usage checks.
that should be
https://ediabetic.herokuapp.com/api/v1/entries/sgv.json
The settings (which is what status.json provides) are now internal to the watch settings.
Please let me know in a couple days how the delta display is working for you and thoughts on what could change if it isn't.
No they get stripped from the email.
If you go to the webpage and edit your comment you can add pic there. #39
font size has been increased for delta.
Should see an update available now.
Interesting. That means one of the numbers might be a gap in your data, like a missed poll. Next time you see this can you open your sgv URL on a web browser and paste the results back here? I may have to go back into history farther to find a good value when that happens.
I’m using DEXCOM G6. I have Nightscout setup
This is what is in my clock settings : https://ediabetic.herokuapp.com/api/v1/entries/sgv.json
Here is the output:

Ok, I have one last thing I think it is. You are running version 11.1 of nightscout I suspect you may need to update it to the 12.x train to get the delta field
I’ve updated my nightscout to the latest. And still not getting deltas. Just seeing UNDEF
Here’s the latest output after upgrading.

Wow, so I have it on nightscout and you don't. That means it's a config setting, let me dig into what it might be.
Ok, you aren't using xDrip+ or Spike are you but rather the dexcom app and share to get data into NS?
That could be the source of the difference, the community apps provide that data in the feed.
I'll have to put something together to handle this usage scenario it seems.
Ok, I need to check to see if the glucose source provides delta and if not calculate it.
None of my sources are ones which do not provide delta so please let me know if this improves things for you. Should see it as an update now.
I'm having issues getting stable readings as well so I will have to assume I broke something adding the new delta code back in. It works on the simulator fine but that doesn't always translate to hardware very well.
Ok, I had a spare versa pointing to your site all day and it seemed to be stable.
But I'm android so that could be a difference too.
Ok. I’m getting readings now. I think my issue may have been I was not selecting the type of glucose units. However still no delta readings. Just a triangle and two X’s.
I woke up this morning and where the delta reading should be it says “stale”. But I’ve been getting accurate readings every five minutes.
Sounds good. I’ve been getting stable readings Every 5 minutes, ever since I set the unit type. But continually just get “stale” where the delta is.
maybe you can reverse engineer the cgm reading from the glance clock face.
No problem, always happy to help. if I’m having the issue, I’m sure some other people would be experiencing the same issue.
Anything you do is greatly appreciated. Wish I had the knowledge to do this stuff myself.
Just wondering - where do you live? And do you yourself have T1 or are you a caregiver of a t1?
Shoot me a message on FB messenger if you’d like. m.me/ed.rieger
I see what you mean. When a new reading comes in on DEXCOM app, the reading on the watch becomes Stale, as nightscout hasn’t updated yet.
This is better than no delta readings at all though.
Just an update: I think nightscout got updated or something. My nightscout is getting updated 20-30 seconds after Dexcom app provides a new reading. Which in turn is updating my watch at the same time leading to no “stale”/delayed watch readings.
Just following up. Everything has been stable for awhile now. Consistently today Ive seen the watch reading with delta, update before I see the nightscout update on my ipad(that is on constantly).
Again, thanks for all your work on this and Happy Boxing Day to you.
Good evening. All has been pretty good so far with regards to delta readings.
On another note, would it be possible to make the battery percentage number alittle bigger/bolder?
I have a hard time seeing it.
Thanks
Just a quick q, does the beta version work with xDrip+ directly or only from NS Json or similar?
Closing this ticket out as it has been idle for a long time and new comments should have their own ticket.
