PiSupply/PiJuice

Thoughts on cooling

Having been extremely impressed with the PiJuice unit, I now have more on order for all the other devices I have scattered around.

One question: For obvious reasons the PiJuice occupies the Pi PCB mounting holes so I shall have to print up an alternative case. The main concern it that it is in close proximity to the Pi 3B+ and therefore there seems to be little or no option to add in any cooling. I note that today, sitting in the open air, the Pi / PiJuice combo got to 77° . Does anyone have any thoughts on passive cooling or is just a large fan sucking air through a box the solution?

I purchased a 'Booster Header' from Pimoroni in the UK (https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/booster-header) with the intention of raising the PiJuice unit enough to keep the generic aluminum heat sink my 3B is already using. The stock screws and spacers will need to be replaced with longer ones, of course, but it looks like the extra clearance will be enough to allow for passive cooling.
