A question about usage, specifically powering up

A quick question about the PiJuice...

I have a project where I would like to be able to:

• Remove external power and have the raspberry shut down
  (Either immediately or after a short period of time. Ideally the countdown would stop if external power returns.)
• Manually shut down the raspberry nicely
• Re-attach external power and have the raspberry boot up again, regardless of how it was shut down.

Is this possible with the PiJuice? (I ask because I have tried another PSU solution where the raspberry would only boot up again if the PSU had shut it down.)
