a simple flat theme for pirates

pirate-flat README

There's not much to write, it's a damn VSC theme, so there's nothing to write about, you should try it.

Pirate-Theme

To install this theme, you can download it directly from the Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

cd .vscode/extensions/ && git clone https://github.com/Pinperepette/pirate-flat

Workaround for Theme Installation

If you encounter difficulties installing the theme from the Visual Studio Code marketplace, you can use a workaround to install the theme manually. Here's how to do it:

  1. Download the Theme Repository:

    • Clone or download the theme repository to a local directory on your computer. To create the VSIX file for this theme, use the following command. Alternatively, others can use the one available in the repository:
    vsce package --baseContentUrl https://github.com/Pinperepette/pirate-flat
  2. Install the Theme from Local Directory:

    • Open Visual Studio Code.
    • Go to File > Preferences > Extensions or press Ctrl + Shift + X to open the Extensions panel.
    • Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the Extensions panel and select "Install from VSIX...".
    • Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the theme repository and select the theme directory.
    • The theme will be installed and will be available among the installed themes in Visual Studio Code.
  3. Apply the Theme:

    • Go to File > Preferences > Color Theme to open the list of themes.
    • Select your manually installed theme from the list of available themes.

This workaround allows you to install and use the theme even if you encounter issues with installation from the Visual Studio Code marketplace. If you face further difficulties or have questions, feel free to reach out for assistance.
