The game is played on a 3x3 grid. Each player takes turns to choose an empty cell by entering its corresponding number (1-9). Player 1 is represented by 'X' and player 2 is represented by 'O'. The first player to get 3 of their marks in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game. If all cells are filled and no player has won, the game ends in a draw.
