tic-tae-toe

This is a simple Tic Tac Toe game application developed in Python. It allows two players to play the classic game of Tic Tac Toe on the command line interface.

Features

Interactive command line interface for gameplay. Players can take turns entering their moves. The application validates moves and checks for a win or a draw. Provides a visual representation of the game board. Option to restart the game after completion.

Installation

Clone this repository to your local machine or download the source code as a ZIP file. Make sure you have Python installed on your system (version 3.6 or later). Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the project directory. Run the command python tictactoe.py to start the application.

How to Play

The game is played on a 3x3 grid. Each player takes turns to choose an empty cell by entering its corresponding number (1-9). Player 1 is represented by 'X' and player 2 is represented by 'O'. The first player to get 3 of their marks in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game. If all cells are filled and no player has won, the game ends in a draw.
