Merge the v2 branch into master

Curious if there are plans to merge the v2 branch into master as it's been a while since the latest update to the v2 branch? Having v2 API support in the SDK would be very helpful!

I'm happy to help out with some PRs as well if desired!

Ah, yes, sorry. Let me get this merged and figure out a new deployment since jcenter is no more
