Connect4 Frontend

This is the frontend for Connect4 game. It is built with React and Stream Chat API.

Installation

To install the frontend, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/username/connect4.git
2. Navigate to the frontend directory: cd connect4/frontend
3. Install dependencies: npm install
4. Add your Stream Chat https://dashboard.getstream.io/ API keys to join-game.js file in the following format:
5. Start the development server: npm run dev

Backend

The backend for this project is built with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL. To set it up, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/username/connect4.git
2. Navigate to the backend directory: cd connect4/backend
3. Install dependencies: yarn install
4. Add api keys. You can find the api keys in the Stream Chat dashboard: https://dashboard.getstream.io/
5. Start the server: yarn start app

Note: You will also need to add your Stream Chat API keys to the backend environment variables or config.json file.

The app is currently hosted on a local server and may be unstable. You can access it at https://cove-examples-obligations-exceptional.trycloudflare.com/.
