ATTENDANCE-MONITORING-USING-AMAZON-WEB-SERVICES-A.W.S-
Attendance has always been a conventional thing, right from the beginning at every sector. An Attendance monitoring system is an essential part to maintain a quick and accurate record of the user’s attendance and provides timely summaries and records when it’s needed. Using an Attendance monitoring system in our firm eliminates the need for manual attendance which is a long and cumbersome process. This system is faster and more accurate than a manual attendance system, avoids incorrect data entry, duplication and helps reduce mundane paperwork. An Attendance monitoring system always requires a physical server but for the first time we are going for virtual server. The proposed RFID based attendance system uses physical hardware for capturing the student data and sends it to the Amazon Web Service (A.W.S) a Cloud Computing platform thus sends the email attachment containing student data on a scheduled time (5 P.M) from Monday to Friday. The designed system has an access for Cloud Computing which makes the Attendance Management even more flexible.

The commonest practice of many people carrying their luggage with them while making a trip or journey with valuable items. In some cases, people generally lose their luggage out of forgetting and thefts. To take the edge off these circumstances, a solution has been carried out through the “Luggage Tracking System” with which people can locate their luggage by using GPS Tracker. One needs one’s Arduino with Quad band module (SIM908) at a certain hidden place in your bag. Whenever things go wrong, an Arduino hidden in your bag can be phoned and it will send an SMS with the location, longitude and latitude at the moment. So that the affected persons can easily track the location of their luggage through updating the information of luggage location.

Home automation is one of the major growing technologies which reduce the Human efforts. Some home automation systems target the people seeking luxury and sophisticated home automation platforms, In the other case it is user friendly to people with special needs like the elderly and the disabled. With the advancement in virtual assistance like Google Assistance and Alexa, home automation and Voice controlled applications are becoming normal. Now, we ourselves have built this project “Voice Controlled Home Automation using Google Assistant”. The idea here is to create a practical Home Automation board that can fit into AC power units on our walls and stay concealed inside it. We can operate all the devices connected to the board through a simple voice command like “Ok Google Turn On lights”, and this will turn ON the lights. This project allows us to control home appliances in online, manual, and in timer mode.
