Port of the VS Code theme, Vesper for Neovim - written in Lua. The theme is designed to be easy on the eyes and focuses on the code.
- Supports the latest Neovim 0.9.0 features.
- Enhances terminal colors.
- Introduces a darker background option for sidebar-like windows.
- Supports all major plugins.
- Neovim >= 0.7.2
Install the theme with your preferred package manager, I recommended folke/lazy.nvim:
{
"PunGrumpy/vesper.nvim",
lazy = true,
priority = 1000,
opt = {}
}
colorscheme vesper
vim.cmd[[colorscheme vesper]]
Vesper uses the default options, unless setup
is called.
require("vesper").setup({
-- your configuration comes here
-- or leave it empty to use the default settings

terminal_colors = true, -- Configure the colors used when opening a `:terminal` in [Neovim](https://github.com/neovim/neovim)
styles = {
-- Style to be applied to different syntax groups
-- Value is any valid attr-list value for `:help nvim_set_hl`
comments = { italic = true },
keywords = { italic = true },
functions = {},
variables = {},

hide_inactive_statusline = false, -- Enabling this option, will hide inactive statuslines and replace them with a thin border instead. Should work with the standard **StatusLine** and **LuaLine**.
dim_inactive = false, -- dims inactive windows
lualine_bold = false, -- When `true`, section headers in the lualine theme will be bold
