#MMU Portfolio

This is my website portfolio that I had to create as part of my univeristy project at Manchester Metropolitan University. This will soon be uploaded to my personal live webspace which will be provided by my university. Once my webspace is live I will update this README file with the link to my website.

In the site I have made references to where I acquired third-party JavaScript and CSS files.

Below is the brief we were assigned before starting this project.

Required Elements

Your personal site must consist of the following elements with relevant site navigation:

1. Homepage – index.html

Must include:

  • Text - attractive, engaging, introductory text.
  • Images - a portrait of yourself and a personal banner or logo.
  • Background information on yourself, your career aspirations.
  • (If applicable) Work experience plus links to relevant work that you have created.
  • Links to relevant (professional) social media.

2. Assignment page – acw.html

Create a holding page that will be used to link later to the completed client website, portfolio and other assignments.

3. Blog page – blog.html

Must include:

  • A short 500 word blog post on the development of your site.
  • Think about the style and quality of your writing.
  • Think about your audience.
  • Illustrate where necessary.
  • Discuss your initial ideas for design, layout, and typography.
  • Illustrate the tools and techniques to develop the page (tools means scripts like normalize, not Notepad++). What was hard, why did you use that type of CSS approach etc.

4. Accessibility

The web site must be accessible, making use of ARIA Roles, skip-links and alt text for images.

All pages must conform to the marking schedule and the guidelines and best practices detailed in Required Practices for Web Development Assignments.
