Installation

  1. Clone the repository: 
    git clone https://github.com/your-username/ShortifyURL.git

Navigate to the project directory: cd ShortifyURL Create a virtual environment (optional but recommended): python -m venv venv Activate the virtual environment: venv\Scripts\activate (For Windows) source venv/bin/activate (For macOS and Linux) Install the required dependencies: Install the required dependencies: Run the application: python ShorteningURLs.py

Open your web browser and access the application at http://localhost:5000.

Usage Access the homepage of the application to enter a long URL. Submit the form to generate a shortened URL. Copy and share the shortened URL with others. When users access the shortened URL, they will be redirected to the original long URL. Contributing Contributions are welcome!
