Welcome! The p5.js-website-translator is a platform designed to help contributors translating the p5.js website.

How to use the p5.js-website-translator:

  1. Open the p5.js-website-translator. p5.js-website-translator Home Page
  2. Select the section of the p5.js website you want to translate. How to select the translation section
  3. Choose the language you want to translate the text in. How to select the translation language (Currently, you can only edit the translation files that already exist in the p5.js-website repository. The feature to add new translations is coming soon!)
  4. Edit the text cards. How to edit the text cards (The green highlight of the "Color Conversion" text card signals that the text in the card is not translated. As you can see, it disappears once the translation is edited.)
  5. Download the edited file. How to download the edited file
  6. Submit a Pull Request with the edited file to the p5.js-website repository.

Build Setup

# install dependencies
$ npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:3000
$ npm run dev

# build for production and launch server
$ npm run build
$ npm run start

# generate static project
$ npm run generate
