Open CV Build for Raspberry Pi Arm6 and Arm7, this script installs all dependencies, fetches source and builds OpenCV for Raspberry Pis.
Debian Packages for Armv6l and Armv7l can be found in the releases section.
To build check out this repo onto your raspberry pi and run:
./buildOpenCV.sh build
Note: This setup does not currently cross compile, if you need Arm6 binaries for the Raspberry Pi Zero you must compile on the Pi Zero.
To build a re-distributable debian package
./buildOpenCV.sh package
The built package opencv.deb
contains compiled binaries and should be installable on machines which did not build the package.
Build the debian package and then run:
sudo dpkg -i opencv.deb
# Install dependent packages
sudo apt-get install -y libjpeg-dev libtiff5-dev libjasper-dev libpng12-dev
sudo apt-get install -y libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev libswscale-dev libv4l-dev
sudo apt-get install -y libxvidcore-dev libx264-dev
sudo apt-get install -y libgtk2.0-dev
sudo apt-get install -y libatlas-base-dev gfortran
The package is compiled as a dynamically linked libarary, dependencies may need to be installed if installed on the target system. Currently the produced debian package does not have any dependencies listed. Compiled dependencies can be found in the ./buildOpenCV.sh
script. Runtime dependencies will possibly be the same as these.
