Welcome to your new gem! In this directory, you'll find the files you need to be able to package up your Ruby library into a gem. Put your Ruby code in the file lib/new_gem
. To experiment with that code, run bin/console
for an interactive prompt.

Install the gem and add to the application's Gemfile by executing:
$ bundle add new_gem
If bundler is not being used to manage dependencies, install the gem by executing:
$ gem install new_gem

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
.

The code is linted using Standard. To lint the code run bundle exec rake standard
or bundle exec rake standard:fix
to autocorrect offenses. These Rake tasks are also aliased to lint
and lint:fix
