If you want to run this locally, follow the instructions below:

Mac:

# Create and activate virtual environment
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate

# Install dependencies
pip install --upgrade pip
pip install -r requirements.txt

# Add virtual environment as a Jupyter kernel
python -m ipykernel install --user --name=venv --display-name "Python (venv)"

# If desired, run the Jupyter notebook.  Not needed for running in VS Code
jupyter notebook 50k_demo.ipynb

Windows:

# Create and activate virtual environment

venv\Scripts\activate

# Install dependencies
pip install --upgrade pip
pip install -r requirements.txt

Having problems?

If you want to use Jupyter, but don't have it installed globally, you can install it directly into the virtual environment by running:

pip install jupyter
