The Seven Lives License: GPL v3

The Seven Lives is a platformer indie video game created by the FLAM group of 2022-2023 twelfth grade NSI students from Marcel Dassault high school that’s participating to the NSI Trophy. The game involves in diving into the child’s dreams produced by her mom that’s telling the tragic history of seven animals.

The game is in 2D and is developed with the help of Pygame.

So, in this repository you've a package that embed The Seven Lives game.

Setup

Installation

Take, from the chosen release or the downloaded code, the sevenlives folder and put it anywhere you want or, if you will use it as a library, somewhere from your project's root.
Also, don't forget to install the pygame package v2.3.0+ with pip.

Using

To only launch the project or your modified version, use the following command from one directory upper of the project's root :

python -m sevenlives [-d] [--mode prod|roduction|dev|developement]

Note: the -d flag is similar to --mode dev or --mode developement. Also, the developement mode is just a windowed mode for now but will soon be used to get a better version for development.
However, to use it as a library : import it correcly, create an instance of the Game class and run its method run().
