The purpose of this repository is for students of the Software Engineering course in 2022 to get themselves familiar with concepts of git and practice some basic commands using GitHub. They should learn to collaborate on the same project as well.

Important notice

Make sure that you to submit your GitHub username or registered email to me or contact your TA (Punch). We will send you an invitation to join as a collaborator of this repository.

Instructions

  1. Clone this repository to your machine. You may fork this repository for more practices as well.
  2. Add interesting and up-to-date information about food around KKU (e.g., street food, cafe, public events, etc.) to the foodguide.md
  3. Feel free to add more categories and food guide for people visiting KKU (but keep in mind that this is a public repository. So, inappropriate content is not welcome here.)
  4. Add images/videos with references (if they are not your materials). Images must go to images/ directory.
  5. Always use the markdown to make the content well organized. Please refer to markdown cheatsheet or full specification of the GitHub markdown.
  6. Contribute as much as possible. You may also modify/change/rearrange the information added by others.
  7. Commit your changes and push to this GitHub repository. You may request to pull and resolve merge conflict issues (if required).

Grading

  1. Your good contributions (incomplete content and 'bad' contributions may subject to penalty score)
  2. There will be a penalty score for those who break things in this repository.
  3. There will be a bonus score for those who fix the issues in 2.
  4. Quality of the commit messages - descriptive of the change and concise. Please don't use the default commit message.
  5. Missing references to their original sources will subject to penalty score.
