Introduction

The School/College Data Management System is a project aimed at efficiently managing and organizing data related to various school or college departments. This system uses a MySQL database to store and retrieve information about departments, faculty, courses, students, and more. It also provides the functionality to perform live operations on the data, such as adding new records, updating existing ones, and generating reports.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Before you can run the School/College Data Management System, make sure you have the following prerequisites:

MySQL database server installed and running.

Web server (e.g., Apache, Nginx) with PHP support.

Installation

Clone the project repository from GitHub:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/school-college-data-management.git

Configure the database connection by editing the config.php file and entering your MySQL database credentials:

Import the database schema using the provided SQL file:

Usage

Adding Data

Log in to the system using your credentials. Navigate to the appropriate section (e.g., Departments, Faculty, Courses). Click on the "Add" button to add new records. Fill in the required information and click "Save."

Viewing Data

Log in to the system. Navigate to the section where you want to view data (e.g., Students). Use the search and filter options to find specific records. Click on a record to view its details.

Performing Live Operations

Log in to the system. Navigate to the section where you want to perform operations (e.g., Courses). Use the "Edit" or "Delete" buttons to update or remove records. Confirm your actions when prompted.
