Aframe VR Webapp Starter with Vite

Introduction

This repository provides a starter template for building A-Frame VR webapps using Vite as the development tool. It includes a basic scene, a basic component, and a package for SSL encryption, which is required for testing WebXR features.

Installation

To get started, clone this repository and install the dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/Samu01Tech/aframe-vite-template.git
cd aframe-vite-template
npm install

Development

Once the dependencies are installed, you can start the development server:

npm run dev

This will open a browser window at https://localhost:5173, where you can see the basic scene.

Build for Production

To build the project for production, run the following command:

npm run build

You then can upload the contents of the dist folder to your web server.

Usage

The basic scene and component included in this repository can be used as a starting point for your own VR webapps. You can add your own A-Frame elements and components to create your own immersive experiences.
