MRes Thesis in medical image analysis presented at UCL, studying and comparing a range of numerical method for the Computation of the log-composition of stationary velocity Fields (SVF):

where img and img are SVF and the log and exp functions are the Lie logarithm and the Lie exponential. This numerical problem arises in a range of diffeomorphic image registration algorithms, where the deformations are parametrised in the tanget space with SVF.
