starcheat is a Starbound player save editor, you can get free pixels with this! (omg)
Downloads for starcheat are here.
These are builds of the latest development version. They should work fine, but may be unstable. Don't forget to back up your save files before using them.
NOTE: starcheat is not a normal mod, it's a separate program. You don't need to put it in the Starbound mods folder.
If the latest version isn't working for you, you can try this older version of starcheat. Please report in the discussion thread if you end up needing to use it!
NOTE: If Windows complains about a system error (re: missing msvcr100.dll), you probably need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
- Download the starcheat .zip file above
- Extract all files into a folder somewhere (not the mods folder)
- Go into the newly created folder
- Run
starcheat.exe
- Follow the prompts to configure starcheat (only happens once)
- Open a player

Here is how to build starcheat from source. Make sure everything in the dependencies section is installed before you do a build. You don't need to build from source if you're on Windows or Mac.
- Python 3.3
- Qt 5 (Windows users don't need this)
- PyQt5
- Pillow
- StarDB

(symlinks the .app into your Applications folder)
