IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and similar decentralized storage solutions like Filecoin leverage JSON for various purposes, including metadata description, configuration, and data interchange between nodes. The JSON format's simplicity and flexibility make it well-suited for describing the content and metadata of files stored in these systems, facilitating easy sharing and retrieval across the network.
This web application utilizes the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set, a standard for cross-domain information resource description. By structuring JSON outputs according to the Dublin Core elements, the application ensures that the metadata is comprehensive, standardized, and suitable for a wide range of digital resources. This standardization is crucial for enhancing interoperability and discoverability in systems like IPFS, where diverse digital resources are shared and accessed globally.
In IPFS and Filecoin, every piece of content is uniquely identified by a CID (Content Identifier), which allows for efficient content retrieval without relying on traditional location-based addressing. This web application is designed to accommodate the addition of CIDs to the JSON metadata, ensuring that each JSON document can be directly associated with its corresponding digital content stored on IPFS or similar platforms. The flexibility to add CIDs at a later stage allows users to generate and refine their metadata before finalizing the association with the stored content.

go run cmd/main.go

Input Data: Fill in the form fields with the data you wish to include in your JSON file. The interface is divided into sections for different types of data, such as simple key-value pairs, arrays, and objects.

Preview JSON: As you input data, the JSON output will dynamically update in real-time on the screen, allowing you to preview the resulting structure.

Download JSON: Once satisfied with the JSON structure, click the "Generate JSON" button. This will prompt you to download the generated JSON file to your computer.
The application generates a .json
file based on the user's input. This file is structured according to the form inputs, allowing for a wide range of customization and complexity, from simple configurations to complex nested data structures.
