Grapes-App

Grapes-App is a mobile app for mental health and wellness; a pocket-size version of the GRAPES© practice. It is a tool to help you practice GRAPES© daily, and also a tool to help you track your progress and see your growth over time. You can keep track every day of your planned activities. You can share the activities you have done with others. You can also see what others have done and get ideas for your own GRAPES© practice in the Global Feed.

Research shows that the simple act of planning your daily activities can increase your success at personal development, accomplishing long term goals, and reducing stress and anxiety.

What is GRAPES©?

GRAPES© is a daily practice. Each day, choose a simple activity from each of the different categories. GRAPES is great for anyone, but particularly can help with those who experience anxiety and depression. It can help you to feel more balanced and improve your mood.

GRAPES© is a tool from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); an evidence-based psychotherapy created by Marsha M. Linehan and branches from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

View what G.R.A.P.E.S. stands for

G-> Gentle with self

Be kind to yourself. Think about yourself with pride, acceptance, and forgiveness. Examples include taking time to think about all you are thankful for, or saying no to an inconvenient request.

R-> Relaxation

Take time to relax and unwind from stress. Examples include taking a bath, reading a book, or playing with a pet.

A-> Accomplishment

Commit to completing at least one task. Examples include doing the laundry or completing something from your to-do list.

P-> Pleasure

Do something that you enjoy and makes you feel good. Examples include listening to your favorite music or treating yourself to a tasty snack.

E-> Exercise

Get moving to improve your mood and health. Examples include doing some stretches or going for a walk.

S-> Social

Connect and interact with others. Examples include making small talk to a neighbor or having dinner with a friend.
