About
Polltex is a website that lets you create polls, view results in charts and also share them.
Usage
- As an authenticated user, you can keep your polls and come back later to access them.
- As an authenticated user, you can share my polls with my friends on Twitter and Facebook.
- As an authenticated user, you can see the aggregate results of your polls.
- As an authenticated user, you can delete polls that you decide you don't want anymore.
- As an authenticated user, you can create a poll with any number of possible items.
- As an unauthenticated or authenticated user, you can see and vote on everyone's polls but only once. (IP testing for unauthenticated users, I know it can be easily bypassed)
- As an unauthenticated or authenticated user, you can see the results of polls in chart form.
- As an authenticated user, if you don't like the options on a poll, you can create a new option.
Authentication
Users can login using their Github accounts. This feature uses a Github OAuth application. On being asked, users must authenticate polltex to receive their info.
