Redmine plugin that adds new custom field format, that allows to have Enumerations whose values are set in the project

How it works

What it does

  • Adds a new value in the CustomFiels types : Project Enumeration

    To manage a Key / Value list whose possible values are configured in the project. The key is stored in the custom_values table

  • Adds a new value in the CustomFiels types : Project Values List

    To manage a Values list whose possible values are configured in the project. The value is stored in the custom_values table

  • Adds a new permission : manage_project_enumerations

    This permission allows to edit Project Enumerations values for the project. When a user has this permission, 2 new tabs appear in the Project Settings (depending if Custom Fields of the new type exist or not)

  • Manages Enumeration statuses like for Versions :

    If Enumeration is locked or closed, possible value will not be present in the dropdown list (depends on the Custom Field status configuration) :

How it is implemented

  • Adds new FieldFormat derived form RecordList

    • Redmine::FieldFormat::ProjectEnumerationFormat
    • Redmine::FieldFormat::ProjectListValueFormat

  • 🔑 Rewrites Projects Controller settings action

    To manage : Project Custom Fields configuration, split by tracker (optimization)

  • 🔑 Extends Projects Helper project_settings_tabs method

  • Adds new methods to Project model

    • shared_enumerations
    • shared_list_values

  • Adds new Controller

    • ProjectProjectEnumerationsController
    • ProjectProjectListValuesController

  • Adds new Views

    • for possible values CRUD edition
      • in views/project_project_enumerations
      • in views/project_list_values
    • for Custom Field Configuration
      • in views/custom_fields/formats
    • 🔑 Rewrites partial app/views/projects/settings/_issues.html.erb
