Welcome to the Thread App Clone! This application is a clone of a thread-based social media platform with various features such as real-time chat, profile updates, thread creation, image posting, post liking, and the ability to switch between light and dark themes.

Getting Started

1. Clone the repository:

   : git clone https://github.com/Sompalkar/Thread-backend.git
   
   : npm install
   
   : npm start
   

The app should now be accessible at http://localhost:3000.

Configuration

MongoDB Setup

1. Create a MongoDB database.

2. Configure the connection in server/config/db.js.

Cloudinary Setup

1. Sign up for a Cloudinary account.

2. Configure your API key and cloud name:

   • Frontend: client/src/services/cloudinary.js
   • Backend: server/config/cloudinary.js

JWT Setup

1. Configure your secret key for JWT in server/config/jwt.js.
