I am wondering what the rationale is for blocking gc.zgo.at

It is merely a tool to provide the website with statistics as to page views. It does not track- It does not serve ads It counts visitors to a webpage

We're mostly an aggregator of hosts files from active and reputable curators of hosts files, and we package these amalgamated hosts files in various ways.

Please submit this request to shreyasminocha/shady-hosts, one of our upstream providers.

I just did as you suggested- however it does not appear that ‘anybody is there anymore’— there are open issues from last year and the last update was 9 months ago.
