Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Install node modules:
npm install
  1. Start redis-server:
redis-server > /dev/null 2>&1 &

Configuration

Using environment variables

This method is advised to use in Docker environment

  1. Place a copy of ./env/_template file in the root directory and name it .env

  2. Edit the content so it reflects your configuration

  1. Run the server in the Docker environment
docker-compose up

Hint: You can also run it command-line or export all variables

Using config.json

Open config.json and complete the following details.

  1. Edit your reCaptcha public/private keypair:

NOTE: There are two separate keypairs for development and production environments.

  1. Edit your Lisk connection details:

    "passphrase" : "",    // <-- Passphrase of faucet account
    "address" : ""        // <-- Address of faucet account

    "version": "0.0.0a",  // <-- Expected version of lisk-core end point
    "minVersion": "0.0.0" // <-- Minimal version of lisk-core that will be accepted
}
  1. (optional) Add Explorer URL:

  1. Edit your Redis connection details:

  1. Edit the faucet amount:

Launch

Development:

node app.js

Open: http://localhost:3000

Production:

NODE_ENV=production node app.js

Open: http://localhost:3200
