kmllocations

Extracts names and coordinates from a .kml file to a particular format.

Usage

Windows

  1. Drag a .kml file on top of kmllocations.exe
  2. A text file with the same name as the input will be created containing the output

Any platform

  1. Make sure Python is installed and included in PATH
  2. Open a terminal and navigate to the directory containing kmllocations.py
  3. Run python kmllocations.py <path to kml file>
  4. A text file with the same name as the input will be created containing the output
