I want to make multi-gpu accelerated parallel TPT

Who do I take permission from? With what license? Im planning to create from scratch but I have a gpgpu engine ready.

This would not be like TPT in anything but name, and even that only if you called it TPT, which I don't think you would. Thus, I don't see what sort of permission you are referring to that is ours to give. That said, the license is available here.

Ok. I will just try to imitate barebones sand (just sand) behavior (by comparing parallel solution to serial solution, per-pixel) and try to make it open for development like other matters than just sand.

AATPTPT (An Attempt To Parallelize The Powder Toy) is good name?

I have two intentions: more experience in software development by experiencing some design patterns and have fun with 1000 FPS @ 4K.

My gpgpu engine has MIT license. This be a problem near your license?

As we (powdertoy.co.uk designated staff members) cannot give legal advice nor interpretation, we highly recommend carefully reading the GPLv3 license provided to determine intellectual property conflicts.

We do not and cannot grant special rights as the project has multiple contributors and therefor we are bound to the licensing terms agreed upon by all developers.
