Instructions

  1. Deploy your Windows VM

  2. On-board your VM on Azure Arc

    • Run this command in PowerShell to set the required environment variable when using an Azure VM:
      [System.Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("MSFT_ARC_TEST",'true', [System.EnvironmentVariableTarget]::Machine)

  3. Deploy PowerShell script

    • Find PowerShell script and ARM template for Custom Script Extension for Windows in this repository.
