Build-Me-A-Flask-App

Small commandline application for quick starting a generic flask application.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

The below are the tools needed for use of this software

1. python3

It is strongly recommended to also install and use the following tools:

3. git

Installing

$ git clone git@github.com/ThomasMcDonnell/Build-Me-A-Flask-App

For ease of use on Linux or Mac you can make this script easier to run. Simply add the following alias to either .bashrc or .zshrc, customizing it to match your directory structure:

alias flask_start="python3 ${HOME}/flask_quick_start/flask_quick_start.py"
