Tivix/django-rest-auth

THIS REPO IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED, SWITCH TO jazzband's dj_rest_auth

Hi,

this repo is not maintained anymore, so the development moved to dj-rest-auth.

Please upgrade to using dj-rest-auth and add new issues there.

(I claim this based on this old discussion: #568)

The new repo link is: https://github.com/jazzband/dj-rest-auth (I'm not the upkeeper of this repo, it just makes sense for me to help you write where you get answers.)

Best,
Barney

Update (2020 October 9)
You can try and reach Tivix at https://www.facebook.com/tivix/ .
It looks like the company is still alive and makes new facebook posts, they just ceased to care about this repo.

@BarnabasSzabolcs i don't see any advantage in dj-rest-auth but django-rest-auth , this package is still has many features , you need work hard on dj-rest-auth to become like this package or better

@thomas545 did you take a look on dj-rest-auth ?

Actually I don't know why the folks here didn't state clearly the sate of this repo and recommend using dj-rest-auth too on the readme file till now

I didn't see any advantage in dj-rest-auth package, On the contrary, it does not have such features as django-rest-auth

DRF Community recommend this package, but I didn't see any authorized / expert person recommend using dj-rest-auth

It's a fork to continue this repo journey, it's the same as here plus new enhancements and contribution.
take a look on release log here

There is a merged PR already on DRF to include it, I think this change will be available on 3.12 release.

Great, but dj-rest-auth need more work

need more work to do what? at least it covers support and bug fixes which aren't gonna be done ever here again.
