Intelligent_Systems_Depth_First
This is an Assessment completed for the Intelligent Systems module at the University of Kent. This particular program utilises a depth first search to idenify the shortest path from point a to b within a plane containing rectangular impassible blocks.
Concurrency_Assignment_Java
This is a simple filesystem esque application that was used to practice and assess multithreading from a low level in Java, Making use of locks, semaphores, mulitple threads. This example aims to demonstrate the use of FIFO along with semaphores to ensure fairness amongst the competeing threads.
Embedded_Temperature_Sensor
This is an Assigment completed as part of my computer science degree at the University of Kent. It is a simple C++ program built upon mbed_os libraries for use running on an embedded device. This is a simple example which uses various sensors on the emmbedded device to record its status and send these in packets to a server with various bit flags to denote different states. This takes into account multiple embedded devices trying to contact the server at the same time and subsequently has exponential back off included.
