WikiFocus is a Chrome extension that focuses the search bar when you open Wikipedia, so that you can start searching without having to worry about manually clicking on it every time.
Download it from the Chrome Web Store.
If you don't want to use the Chrome Web Store, you can still download the code and install the extension in your browser:
- Download the code of this repository
- Unzip it somewhere
- Go to chrome://extensions (or find it in your menu in more tools > extensions)
- Activate the developer mode on the top right of the page
- Select the "Load unpacked extension..." option
- Select the folder containing the extension
- Click "Load"
